WHAT SERVICES DOES CRYSTAL CLEAR OFFER?

Microsuction

Microsuction is considered to be the gold standard of ear care. It is an advanced and modern method of ear wax removal where a specialised suction device is used to to gently remove wax from the ear canal.  Microsuction is minimally invasive and when performed correctly it is a pain free method of ear care.  Microsuction has the advantage that it does not use water so can be performed if ear irrigation is not possible, for example because of a perforated ear drum. Microsuction is the preferred method of choice if the wax is close to the entrance of the ear canal

Irrigation

Warm water irrigation is a popular method for removing ear wax build up.  Irrigation involves using a controlled, low pressure water jet to gentle breakdown and wash away any excess wax.  Ear irrigation is the preferred method of choice  if the wax is deep within the ear canal.

Manual Removal

The manual method of ear wax removal is usually used in conjunction with microsuction and irrigation.  It involves the use use of sterile, manual wax removal tools to carefully clear stubborn and difficult blockages
